| Message From Our President |
| Dear Community, On behalf of the Ramallah Club of Washington, DC, I would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year. Over the past year, our club has accomplished much, and with a new energetic board, we're excited and eager to do even more. With our new group of young leaders, and guidance from the people that built the club up to where it is today, we will be implementing changes that will help our club in the coming years. Some of these changes will include more events for children and young adults, cultural programs, and charity fundraisers. We would like to thank everyone who has been a part of our club and supported the things we do, including the most recent Ramallah Club Christmas Party. Without your help, much of the event and charity work that occurs throughout the year would not happen. In the fall, the Ramallah Club was able to donate over 700lbs of food to those less fortunate, and most recently, many of you donated toys at our Christmas party for the Children's National Medical Center. In addition to using the Ramallah Club as a way to keep our culture and heritage alive, you all have helped us help those that need it most. This next year will be full of fun events for kids and adults, more giving, and continued growth. Not only do we urge you to come to the events held throughout the year, but we encourage everyone to be involved with helping pass our heritage on to the children and grandchildren in the community. Without your support and encouragement, passing our culture on to the next generation will not be possible. Thank you all again for everything you do. We look forward to seeing you, hearing from you, and working with you in 2012! Kristopher Ayoub Ramallah Club of Washington, DC |
